Ryanair Special Service Request (SSR) Practice Test

The answer is that it is not necessary to submit a Special Service Request (SSR) for general seating preferences because SSRs are specifically designed for essential services and assistance needs. This includes requests for wheelchairs, unaccompanied minors, medical assistance, or any other special requirements to ensure that passengers with specific needs can be accommodated appropriately.

General seating preferences, such as wanting a window or aisle seat, do not fall under the category of essential services and do not require formal SSR submission. Instead, passengers can typically select their general seating preferences during the booking process or at check-in without the need for a formal request. Understanding this distinction helps clarify the appropriate use of SSRs and ensures that they are reserved for those who genuinely require special assistance.
